SERVICE UPDATE: WATCH REPAIR PAUSED
The United States is facing a severe shortage of trained watch technicians. That shortage has reached a point where quality repair work cannot be guaranteed at the standard we hold for our Crew Members.
To fix the problem at the root, Abingdon Co. is building a watchmaking school in Las Vegas. We are training the next generation of technicians and watchmakers so this craft doesn’t disappear—and so our Crew has long-term support for their timepieces.
While we build this program, in-house repair is paused. When our newly trained technicians are certified and on the bench, we will reopen repairs with better capacity and faster turnaround.
If you need service now:
Take your watch to a professional watch repair shop. Choose a technician—not a jewelry store counter. You will get better results from someone trained to work on movements, crowns, gaskets, and crystals.
This pause ensures we protect the quality of your watch and rebuild a pipeline of skilled talent for the future. It’s an investment in the craft, the community, and every woman who relies on her tools to do more.
